Let us pack the church this weekend, March 8 and 9, and celebrate with one another in the Family Body of Christ.We thank our beloved parishioners for their patience during this difficult time, and we thank all our dedicated staff and volunteers who have worked tirelessly to get everything in order after environmental remediation. Please join the St. Rita Community and our parish ministries in praying the Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the church. A simple soup supper will be held in Gara Hall afterward. This traditional Lenten devotion traces Jesus’s steps on Good Friday along the Via Dolorosa (“sorrowful way”), from the praetorium to his tomb. It is a beautiful opportunity for prayer – one of the three pillars of Lent – during this holy season.
This Friday, March 14, the Stations will be presented by the St. Rita Music Ministry. Mary Williams, Family Ministry Coordinator, and Gary Hrstich, maintenance staff, will host the soup supper, and they will serve alphabet soup.

Good and loving God,
We, the people of St. Rita Parish, thank you for the blessings You have graciously poured down upon us. For over 100 years You have guided our parish and for this we thank and honor You. As we work together to implement our priorities for the coming years, bless our deliberations and guide our efforts. As disciples of Jesus, assist us in our parish mission to be a community that lives by faith, is known by love and is a voice of hope. With the intercession of St. Rita, remove anything that may impede our progress and bless all that we do. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
