Next Generation Parish

- Under the guidance of and in partnership with Catholic Leadership Institute, St. Rita Catholic Parish has committed to a 4-year experience as a Next Generation Parish that seeks to meet “the challenges of our times through visionary models that foster spiritual maturity, share leadership, offer a vibrant Sunday experience, and embrace a missionary impulse” [CLI website https://www.catholicleaders.org] After a parish survey (Discipleship Maker Index- DMI) was conducted, an Envisioning Team was formed at St. Rita Parish. Through careful and prayerful deliberation based on multiple data analyses, this team determined Parish Priorities. Click on the picture to learn more about these priorities, as described in our Parish Priority Plan.
  The current Implementation Leadership Team, also known as NextGen, has sought to meet the goals of those priorities, which have remained rooted in the Parish Vision:
  
  “Nourished by the Sacraments, our Masses, and parish gatherings, we see our St. Rita parish community fully united and engaged as disciples of Jesus who live our faith and bring hope to others through witnessing the Gospel with unconditional love.”
- The NextGen Team has put together this short video, introducing themselves and going into further detail about the plan to implement our Parish Priorities in order to continue to transform St. Rita into a welcoming and vibrant place of worship.

  Good and loving God,
  We, the people of St. Rita Parish, thank you for the blessings You have graciously poured down upon us. For over 100 years You have guided our parish and for this we thank and honor You. As we work together to implement our priorities for the coming years, bless our deliberations and guide our efforts. As disciples of Jesus, assist us in our parish mission to be a community that lives by faith, is known by love and is a voice of hope. With the intercession of St. Rita, remove anything that may impede our progress and bless all that we do. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
